CHENEY LAKE PARK MASTER PLAN

LDN is in the final stages of developing an updated Master Plan for Cheney Lake Park, a 34-acre park in east Anchorage that serves between 17,000 and 50,000 residents. We completed a preliminary site inventory and analysis, and gathered public input through a serious of community workshops and Community Advisory Group meetings.

Having developed a strong understanding of the park within its community context, we are now developing a final product that will be consistent with the overall vision of Anchorage 2020, the comprehensive master plan developed to guide Anchorage over the next 20 years. Our final plan will also provide for a park that balances recreational demands with ecological requirements and constraints.
